What is Lift Fitness?

Lift Fitness is a functional training centre. LIFT stands for Lifestyle Inspired Fitness Transformation - and that is exactly what we sell, fitness transformations that are inspired by lifestyle. By movement, by positive goals, by focusing on what we are gaining rather than losing. We put the fun back in training and we make it a lifestyle. We make going to the gym a hobby not a chore. You will train because you want to, not because you feel you have to. It is where you learn to lift yourself, both physically and mentally.

What is performance tracked training?

Performance Tracked training means not only do you have access to facilities with programming and convenience, but one that tracks the number one critical success factor to guaranteeing fitness results, namely applying effort.

How it works is you wear a heart rate monitor compatible with Lift Fitness’ in gym technology and this allows you and your trainer to monitor your exercise intensity, calories burned, and heart rate recovery every single session.

Track your effort in real time and send the data back to your personal app.

You get access to your own personal app which you can use to track your body metrics over time and assist in achieving your weight management goals. Set specific daily, weekly, or monthly targets and caloric expenditure and be held accountable to hitting your targets. You can also integrate with nutrition management apps.

The Heart Rate Monitor is yours to keep and use outside of the gym classes.

The prices seem high compared to other gyms, why is that?

Your membership includes professionally programmed workouts that are designed and scaled specifically to increase your fitness capacity, daily training instruction from a team of qualified coaches, nutritional advice, and one-on-one help whenever you need it. We are committed to helping you to achieve your goals. Your success is our success.

Do I need to use a heart rate monitor?

You do not need to wear a heart rate monitor if you don’t wish too. To effectively and accurately track your progress and performance a heart rate monitor is recommended however you will still get a great workout and see great benefits without one.

Can I buy a heart rate monitor down the track?

Yes, just ask one of the staff to order you one any time. We offer discounted Heart Rate Monitors compared to retail prices.

Can I use my own heart rate monitor?

You can use your own however you will not be able to display your effort during class and your trainer will not be able to follow your performance. The in gym compatible monitors provide you with a personalised app to track your results and also allow your trainer to monitor (in real-time) your exercise intensity, caloric expenditure, and heart rate recovery every single session.

Why can’t I train on my own time?

Lift Fitness is designed to get you lasting results in the shortest workout time possible. The motivation and encouragement in a group training facility creates an environment where goals are met and exceeded.

Is the kids corner supervised?

The kids corner is unsupervised. You will be required to attend to your children as needed. The area is literally on the gym floor though so you will be able to see them at all times and they will be able to see you while they play and keep busy during the 45 minutes.

This doesn’t look like a regular gym, I’m worried it’s not for me?

Lift Fitness focuses on functional movements while having fun. There are no machines. If you are wanting to workout in a way that gives you rewarding results while improving your strength and fitness no matter what your current fitness level this is the gym for you. Don’t be put off, you’ll be shown the ropes the whole way through.
